Citizens Advice is a national charity with offices in England and Wales. It has member bureaux in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Citizens Advice Tunbridge Wells and District is an independent charity in its own right. It dealt with 5,500 clients in 2017-18, representing 1 in 20 people in the Borough. Bereavement, redundancies or relationship problems can all suddenly come out of the blue. No-one expects to find themselves in these situations. We’re here to support people when they don’t know where else to turn – to explain their options, rights and responsibilities. As a charity we are entirely reliant on donations and in-kind support.
Tunbridge Wells and District CAB has been around for 80 years and there are many ways you can help us to ensure we can continue to guide and support people in the future.
One day you might need us, right now, we need you…
Whether it’s through making a donation, organising your own event, or choosing us as your organisation’s Charity of the Year, you can get involved and make a difference.
We are very fortunate to have a group of supporters in The Friends of Tunbridge Wells and District Citizens Advice Bureaux. This is a separate independent charity (registered charity no.1001830) devoted to raising funds and developing awareness of the bureau.
If you would like more information about their activities and how you can get involved please see the Friends’ website
